Add some sparkle to your spritz with Handshake’s Persian twist! This effervescent blend of bitters, Aperol, and a touch of star anise brings a warm spice and zesty fizz—perfect for any season when you’re dreaming of somewhere warmer.
1 ounce Handshake Digestif BItters
1/2 ounce star anise simple syrup
1/2 ounce Aperol
2 ounces prosecco
1 ounce soda water
1. Add ingredients to a wine glass filled with ice.
2. Stir lightly to combine.
3. Garnish with an orange twist.
For the star anise simple syrup: Bring 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 3 whole star anise pods to a simmer. Stir until sugar is fully dissolved and let cool. Once cooled, remove the star anise pods.
